Description
The Aumovio-NTU Corp Lab is a strategic research collaboration between NTU and Aumovio, focusing on developing technically advanced solutions in areas such as sustainable materials engineering, artificial intelligence, advanced communications, and cybersecurity for future urban mobility applications. We aim to develop innovative solutions that can be commercialized into products and services for Aumovio through close collaboration with its business units. This research position is related to Project C3 'Communication over In-Vehicle Powerline' of the Aumovio-NTU corporate lab Phase 2 program. We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow to help develop power line communication systems and characterize their electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance transceivers and couplers for vehicular powerlines, working closely with a Research Engineer.
Characterize conducted and radiative interference generated by PLC signal transmissions to evaluate their impact on peripheral vehicle systems.
Implement advanced EMC/EMI mitigation strategies and design specialized filtering or shielding devices to ensure system compatibility.
Provide technical guidance on EMI characterization to help optimize communication system protocols and ensure robust performance in noisy environments.
Collaborate with researchers to enable the generation and processing of required PLC waveforms and perform rigorous EMC/EMI tests for compliance.
Prepare technical reports and present progress to lab stakeholders and industry partners.
Job Requirements: PhD degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering from a reputable institution.
At least 5 years of postdoctoral researcher experience in a reputable institution.
Expertise in EMC/EMI characterization (conducted and radiative) and proven ability to design specialized filters and shielding solutions.
Advanced proficiency in simulation tools such as CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, or MATLAB.
Strong background in microwave circuit design, S-parameter analysis, and high-frequency circuit modeling.
Hands-on experience with VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and PCB layout design for RF circuits.
Familiarity with international automotive EMC standards and a strong track record of publications in high-impact journals.
We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
