Consultant, Global Inbound Logistics Manages the Fulfillment & Logistics outsourced operations and relationships. Responsible for carrier selection, ocean network design, set up and lead-time maintenance. Implements and executes process change. Manages Fulfillment & Logistics provider's service levels and KPI's. Accountable for the backlog and capacity management of the fulfillment locations. Responsible for exception management including expedites, order prioritization and delivery escalation. Drives cost management and business controls compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES Primarily focused on managing large scale outsourced Fulfillment & Logistics Providers Ongoing interaction with key contacts within vendors Business partner for internal interactions with manufacturing and fulfillment senior management Handles escalated vendor issues from team members Drives and leads regional project management Drives KPI and Metric setting Develops Partner relationship with outsourced Fulfillment & Logistics providers Reports out performance metrics to the Logistic management team Leads and drives cost and compliance initiatives Manages large scale outsourced Fulfillment & Logistics providers. Singapore . You will: Ocean freight strategy and optimization. Evaluate and benchmark on inbound ocean freight network to make sure it stays competitive Partnership with sourcing team in delivering the RFQ strategies and play an important part of making sure the RFQ is not just a commercial but also an operational gain. Lead the LSP transitions from inbound operation perspective Ocean freight strategy related initiatives which contribute to better cost structure and/or better lead time Ownership of ocean freight compliance & regulatory requirements. Essential Requirements: Ownership of inbound ocean SLA and lead time & cost alignment with internal stakeholders Engage with internal stakeholder to explore new fulfillment model and network enablement to support internal requests Participate in supply chain programs and deliver these programs representing inbound operation Develop the partnership with inbound LSPs Lead the ocean digitalization/modernization conversation with inbound partners Work with operation team and drive LSPs high level performance issues through MBR/QBR/SBRs. Desired Requirements: Min 15+ years of ocean freight related experience with a Bachelor's or above degree, preferably to have a mixture of air freight experience in air carriers and high-tech manufacturing companies. Experienced in ocean industry and E2E operations. Focus on LSP partnership development. Solid understanding of supply chain operations Advanced analytical skills.
