about the job. This regional accounting position offers a motivated professional the chance to oversee financial integrity and drive process transformations within a high-growth multinational setting.
You will take charge of regional retail accounting operations to ensure all financial activities remain accurate and compliant with internal standards. The role involves managing the complete month-end closing cycle including the preparation of journal entries and detailed variance analysis. You will serve as the primary liaison for external auditors to facilitate smooth statutory audit processes through timely information delivery. A key focus will be identifying and implementing automation tools and advanced system capabilities to enhance departmental efficiency. You will maintain robust internal control frameworks to ensure full alignment with corporate policies and international regulatory requirements.
Skills And Experience Required.
The successful candidate should possess a recognized degree in accountancy or a professional accounting qualification with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a commercial environment, preferably full sets of accounts. You must demonstrate strong technical proficiency in managing complex reconciliations and a solid understanding of financial reporting frameworks. We are seeking an energetic and highly communicative professional who can connect effectively with regional stakeholders and work with empathy. Proficiency in tier-1 ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet functions is essential for managing high volumes of data with precision. Office is in the Central of Singapore, 2 days work in office, 3 days work from home.
