Why My Client Is Hiring: My client is expanding and looking for experienced Senior MFT Portfolio Managers to help build a new mid-frequency trading arm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mid-frequency trading and portfolio management, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to make informed and timely decisions.
What You'll Work On: Build out a brand new mid-frequency business by devising and executing a plan to turn this vision into reality Develop and execute mid-frequency trading strategies (holding period
Manage and optimise trading algorithms and systems, using quantitative analysis to identify and capitalise on market opportunities Collaborate closely with trading, research, and technology teams to develop and refine trading models and strategies Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies as necessary to stay ahead of changing trends Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management
What My Client Is Looking For: Professional experience in portfolio management with a strong track record of success, including a P&L of > USD 10M/year Ownership of or experience operating successful alphas/strategies, with willingness to bring them to my client's platform Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and models to drive trading decisions Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex trading strategies and market insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
