Singapore, who is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager, Housekeeping. This position is based in Singapore. Responsibilities Inspect rooms, corridors, and
service areas daily to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met Conduct daily inspections of VIP rooms, showrooms, and preventive maintenance areas to maintain service excellence Coordinate with Front Office and relevant teams to ensure timely room release and readiness for guests Lead housekeeping shifts, delivering personalized in-room guest service to enhance guest satisfaction Prepare VIP rooms and amenities according to established hotel standards Train and guide housekeeping staff on guest interaction, technical skills, and service processes to improve team performance Manage guest requests and complaints promptly while upholding excellent service standards Oversee team operations including conducting briefings, enforcing grooming standards, and planning staff schedules and rosters Manage housekeeping resources such as supplies, equipment, linen, and chemicals to optimize operational efficiency Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and performance goals while maintaining effective interdepartmental communication Preferred competencies and qualifications Tertiary education or diploma in hotel courses preferred Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience, including at least 1 year as a housekeeping executive Experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles at a similar-level hotel Trainer or on-the-job trainer experience preferred Proficient computer skills, preferably in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Presentable, well-groomed with demonstrated leadership qualities Technical skills relevant to housekeeping and coordination Strong supervisory and leadership skills with a collaborative, enabling, and entrepreneurial approach Well-developed interpersonal skills with guests, colleagues, and management Knowledge and use of Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera and E-Housekeeping EA Licence No.: 12C6207 JJ Consulting Services Applicants are invited to send a MS Word resume to (HIDDEN TEXT) stating the position applying for, present/expected salaries, and earliest available date.
