Accountant, Singapore

Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to support the finance function across corporate entities, funds, and investment SPVs. This role focuses on core accounting, reporting, and operational finance, while offering exposure to real estate investments and fund structures. You will work closely with the Assistant Finance Manager / Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth day-to-day finance operations. Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
Maintain full set of accounts for corporate entities and SPVs Prepare monthly closing, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions Assist in preparation of financial statements in accordance with
SFRS / IFRS Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process invoices, payments, and staff claims Manage vendor payments and ensure proper documentation Issue invoices and track receivables where applicable Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements Fund & Investment Support
Assist in basic fund accounting activities (e.g. tracking capital calls, distributions) Support accounting entries for acquisitions, disposals, and asset-level transactions Maintain supporting schedules for investments and portfolio performance Audit & Compliance
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Liaise with auditors and assist during year-end audits Support GST filings and corporate tax submissions Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies Treasury & Operations
Monitor daily cash balances and assist with cash flow tracking Support payment runs and banking administration Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions Process & Systems
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records Assist in improving accounting processes and workflows Support implementation of accounting systems or templates where needed Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-5 years of accounting experience Prior experience in:Real estate / REIT / fund environment (preferred), orAudit (Big 4 / mid-tier) or commercial accounting Basic understanding of accounting standards ( SFRS / IFRS ) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
