Who we are Pioneering workers' rights since 1961, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) unites 59 trade unions, seven trade associations, 12 social enterprises, and other enterprise partners as we create better lives for workers here in Singapore.

Role Overview The intern will support the CSE team in research and data analysis related to key events such as Budget, May Day, and NDR. This includes processing survey data, identifying perception trends, monitoring online sentiments, and tracking media and parliamentary discussions on worker-related issues to provide timely insights for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Assist the Principal Consultant with data processing for Budget, May Day and NDR ad hoc surveys. Support the team in the review of CSE's monthly surveys by organising data and identifying broad perception and awareness trends. Bolster the online sensing capabilities of CSE during peak periods such as Budget, May Day and NDR to gauge online traction and sentiments on NTUC and LM related issues. Help monitor parliamentary proceedings and online media reports to surface news or debates related to worker concerns to the team. Assist the team with social media analysis of target channels and platforms
Candidate Profile Strong analytical skills with an interest in research, data interpretation, and social trends. Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to process and manage large sets of data accurately. Curious about current affairs, public policy, and worker-related issues in Singapore. Able to summarise key insights from media reports and online discussions clearly. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning data or analytics tools. Proactive team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
