What The Role Is
You will be working with a team on initiatives that are aligned with MOH's efforts in containing escalating healthcare costs and keeping insurance premiums sustainable.
You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What you will be working on
Review and develop fee benchmarks for a range of healthcare treatments to promote fair charging practices and transparency in the private healthcare sector; Work on other initiatives relating to private healthcare charges and healthcare insurance dispute resolution; and Work on initiatives to resolve cross-cutting issues related to health insurance under the Multilateral Healthcare Insurance Committee.

Key Competencies Required:
Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements – Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities. Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. Improving & Innovating – Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. Working Effectively with Stakeholders – Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose. Degree in any discipline; background in economics or life/biomedical/health sciences would be an advantage. Prior experience in healthcare sector, insurance sector or a policy-related role is an advantage. Prior experience in work involving system thinking and/or designing policies that factor in strategic communications considerations upfront Good quantitative skills and data literacy, with knowledge of Excel; Experience with Stata or Tableau is an advantage.
