Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and quality standards Assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Support senior chefs in food preparation, cooking, and plating Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the assigned kitchen section Check food quality, freshness, and portion control before service Assist with mise ‑ en ‑ place and proper storage of ingredients Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times Minimise food wastage through proper handling and storage practices Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel or restaurant Basic culinary training or certification is an advantage Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work in a fast ‑ paced kitchen environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior kitchen staff Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
