Responsibilities: . Read drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. . Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. . Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. Cut material with powered saws to match measurements). . Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. . Align components using callipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces . Responsibly using and maintaining equipment not to compromise safety. . Able to prepare a Welding machine and necessary equipment's and tools before the welding works. . Joining, fabricating, and repairing structures, equipment, and other metal objects using welding techniques such as TIG welding, SMAW electric arc, PVC welding etc. . To have a skill and experience in different welding process such as Gas tungsten Arc welding (GTAW), Shield metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and SAW/FCAW and PVC welding etc., . To weld different type of base material such as Carbon Steel, Stainless steel and Alloy steel etc., . To be qualify in different welding position for Piping (6G), Overhead(4G), Vertical(3G) and Horizontal(2G) . Able to weld in either Up-hill or Down-hill welding process . Must have knowledge of Do's and Dont's while perform welding before, during and After welding. . Must have knowledge in Electrode storing and redrying in Ovens and in Portable Quivers. . To perform a Challenging and difficult welding job such as Boiler tube welding by using Mirror welding, Tie-in job and repair works welding activities in indoor and outdoor environment. . Have advantage to perform welding in both hand (Right & Left-hand welding skill) to weld in critical and narrow welding area/position. . Able to work in accordance with approved welding procedure specification (WPS) . Able to perform the Welding for base materials with Controlled Heat treatment environment, if necessary, . Able to operate the electrical equipment's such as power and hand-held tools . Able to work as a team in a multicultural environment in a safety manner without any Loss time injury. . Able to work at height on Scaffold or mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP) and Confined space.
