Description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team at Ono Ramen and Kulon Bakmi. The ideal candidate will have experience in Asian cuisine preparation, strong kitchen operations knowledge and the ability to maintain high food quality and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards Ensure consistency in food presentation, taste, and portioning Assist in menu development and seasonal specials Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and Halal preparation standards Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required Minimize food wastage and maintain cost efficiency Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred Experience in Japanese, Indonesian or Asian cuisine is an advantage Knowledge of ramen, noodle preparation, soups, and sauces preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure Good teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude, disciplined, and willing to learn Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Basic food hygiene certification preferred Muslim-friendly and Halal kitchen experience is an advantage
