Quantity Surveyor (Tender and Procurement), Singapore

Responsibilities:
Tender: Assist in tender process and report to tender manager, which includes prepare and analyse bidders' commercial proposals and etc Provide support in post-contract process on the subcontractor award, prepare subcontract documents Collaborate with consultants, tender teams, commercial teams on tender and procurement process Provide site management with clear and concise tender documentations during project commencement
Procurement: Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare bills of quantities and manage measurement processes Source and procure materials, goods and services from subcontractors and suppliers Negotiate contracts and prices to meet the project budget Prepare and administer subcontract agreements Coordinate with project team to understand requirements and timelines Collaborate with project team and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are met Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards Maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and reliability
Requirements:
Degree in Building Construction Management / Quantity Surveying or a related field At least 2 to 6 years of experience in a similar position in construction industry Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role Experience in handing tendering, cost control and procurement process in the construction industry Familiar with industry-standard software for estimating and procurement (eg. CostX, Cubicost and etc) would be advantageous Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently Ability to organize, plan and strategize within the timeline Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
