Accounting Officer, Singapore

Job Description - Monitor the Branch's daily operations to ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures, MAS Notices, and the Banking Act. - Stay updated on accounting regulations and policies, and apply any required changes to Branch processes. - Work with external auditors and tax consultants on accounting, audit, and tax-related matters (ad-hoc). - Liaise with internal departments on the Branch's accounting and tax affairs. - Monitor daily nostro account balances for treasury purposes. - Prepare daily MAS reconciliations. - Perform daily operational checks, including balance sheet and P&L reviews. - Handle audit confirmations and reply to verification requests. - Prepare and monitor all MAS regulatory reports. - Prepare and monitor monthly nostro reconciliations, including outstanding item follow-ups. - Perform monthly inter-office interest calculations. Requirements - Strong analytical skills, with good interpersonal and communication abilities. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Well-versed in accounting or related fields. - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
