Senior Mechanical Engineer (M&E Consultancy), Singapore

Job Description
We are an established
M&E consultancy firm
seeking a
Senior Mechanical Engineer
to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the
design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical building services
for a range of developments, including
data centres, laboratories, commercial and institutional projects . Key Responsibilities
Prepare
mechanical building services designs
including: ACMV / HVAC systems
Chilled water systems
Plumbing & sanitary systems
Fire protection systems (coordination level)
Perform engineering calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
Prepare design drawings, specifications, reports, and tender documentation.
Coordinate with clients, architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
Liaise with authorities (e.g.
BCA, SCDF, NEA ) for submissions and approvals.
Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, and material samples.
Attend design coordination meetings, site meetings, and inspections.
Support projects from
design stage through construction and completion .
Provide guidance to junior engineers when required.
Requirements
Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
in
M&E consultancy / building services engineering .
Strong knowledge of
ACMV / HVAC system design .
Experience in
data centre and/or laboratory / cleanroom projects
will be an advantage.
Familiar with
Singapore codes and authority submission processes .
Proficient in
AutoCAD
experience with BIM / Revit is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
