Your New Role This role leads the strategic development of selected food / beverage categories across the Asia Pacific region. The position translates international innovation priorities into focused category plans that support sustainable business growth, working closely with international, scientific and R&D teams. The role owns the regional categories portfolio, using market and customer insight to identify portfolio gaps, growth opportunities and innovation priorities. You will guide the innovation pipeline from opportunity identification through to launch, ensuring solutions are commercially relevant and clearly positioned through strong, science‑based value propositions. The role also supports regional category governance and cross-functional initiatives, partnering with business leadership to align stakeholders and accelerate strategic priorities across Asia Pacific.
What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful, you will bring a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline such as Food Science, Chemistry or Biology, coupled with a solid background in either technical, innovation, R&D, or B2B marketing and commercial roles within the food or flavour industry. You will have a minimum of 8 years' experience operating in technical or innovation-driven environments, with a proven ability to influence commercial and marketing stakeholders as well as external customers. Strong product knowledge development skills, experience working cross-functionally with technical, innovation, and commercial teams, and structured project management capabilities are essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at a regional level, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive product and category success.
