Structural Engineer (C&S), Singapore

Responsibilities Manage planning and development of projects. Develop engineering designs based on project requirements, from conceptual to schematic and detailed designs. Conduct project assessments and is able to provide feasible and creative solutions based on the assessment results. Participate in the tendering processes and monitors the work of contractors and subcontractors. Maintain overall records of drawing registers, RFI and shop drawings for ISO standard compliance. Resolve design and construction issues by liaising and instructing contractors. Attend technical meetings and site survey to resolve work site issues. Plan the team's manpower allocation and provides on-the-job coaching to junior staff.
Qualifications Bachelor degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent 5 – 7 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity. Positive attitude & meticulous, has an eye for details Good communication & inter-personal skills, team-player Fast learner & ability to multi-task & work independently Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words, Powerpoint. Proficiency in English Ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage.
