Electrical Engineer, Singapore

About the Role As a CBRE Electrical Engineer to support commercial and industrial facilities. You will ensure reliable electrical operations, lead maintenance activities, support projects, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance for building M&E systems. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do: Operate and maintain MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, MSBs/SMDBs, generators, UPS, and MCCs. Perform troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance via CMMS. Maintain electrical components of building systems: lighting, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, fire protection systems, lifts/escalators, etc. Support electrical needs for industrial machinery, plant equipment, and process loads. Execute Permit to Work, LOTO, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with EMA, SCDF, WSH regulations. Respond to electrical faults and support emergency recovery. Assist with retrofit works, system upgrades, shutdowns, testing & commissioning. Maintain documentation: SLDs, reports, test records, asset data. Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and building operations teams.
What You'll Need: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience in aviation, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or mission critical environments is an advantage. Strong technical skills in MV/LV systems, troubleshooting, and building M&E equipment. Familiar with CMMS, BMS/SCADA, and electrical safety procedures. Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
