Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products according to approved recipes and operational requirements Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning standards Support daily food preparation and production schedules based on operational needs Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies and food safety regulations Monitor stock levels, ingredient freshness, and proper storage practices Minimise food wastage through proper planning and inventory control Assist in menu preparation and seasonal product planning when required Ensure bakery and kitchen equipment are used safely and maintained properly Work closely with kitchen and operations teams to support daily service requirements Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Support training and guidance for junior kitchen staff when assigned Perform other duties assigned by management to support operational needs
Key Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in bakery, pastry, food preparation, or kitchen operations Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage operational timelines effectively Good teamwork and communication skills Ability to organise and prioritise work responsibilities efficiently
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required
