Logistics Executive – FCL (Americas Trade), Singapore

Our client is a leading dry bulk / metals commodity trading company looking for a Logistics Executive to join their growing Singapore office. This role sits within the Recycle Resources Department and will focus on coordinating FCL shipments of recycled/base metals across global markets, particularly the Americas trade lane. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage FCL export/import shipments for recycled and base metals cargoes Liaise closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, warehouses, and overseas counterparts to ensure smooth cargo movement Handle shipping documentation, booking arrangements, cargo tracking, and operational follow-up Monitor shipment schedules, freight costs, and logistics performance Work closely with internal trading teams and HQ stakeholders on operational execution Support logistics planning for trades across US/Canada, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Middle East Ensure compliance with shipping and trade requirements Requirements Minimum 2-4 years of relevant logistics / export operations / freight forwarding experience Prior experience handling base metals / recycled materials / scrap metals / aluminium / stainless steel cargoes preferred Familiar with FCL container shipments and export operations Experience handling shipments to/from Americas, Southeast Asia, Europe, or Middle East Experience working with shipping lines and freight forwarders Exposure to commodity trading or metals logistics environment will be advantageous Willing to learn and grow within the commodity trading industry Willing to travel when required Proficient in English and Mandarin (to liaise with HQ / Mandarin-speaking stakeholders) Why Join Opportunity to join a growing international commodity trading company Exposure to global trade flows and metals markets Dynamic and fast-paced commercial environment Strong learning and career growth opportunities Interested candidates may send your updated CV with salary expectations to (HIDDEN TEXT) All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
