Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business goals and regulatory requirements Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning and prioritisation activities Track project deliverables and drive timely execution of digital initiatives and enhancements Partner with business and technology stakeholders to manage expectations, dependencies and solution delivery Review business processes to identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and improved user experience Support testing, production releases and post-implementation activities while providing direction to development and QA teams
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate Should Have
At least 5 years of Product Owner experience within the financial services industry Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Digital or a related discipline Proven track record delivering digital platform enhancements and Agile projects Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking capabilities Familiarity with AI/GenAI, automation, data-driven solutions and digital architecture concepts such as APIs and integrations Self-motivated and adaptable individual with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Figma
