Assistant/Nurse Manager (West, Nursing Home) #HTJ, Singapore

Mon - Fri: Office hours On-call roster: 1 week to 10 days once a month Key Responsibilities Oversee the team of registered and enrolled nurses, nursing aides, healthcare assistants. Responsible for compliance of all nursing standards as stipulated by Ministry of health (MOH) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Promote evidence-based practices or nursing care delivery. Ensure written policies and procedures and work process are available and up to date to guide the nursing care delivery. Ensure the smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible. Direct care of the residents to ensure compliance to standards. Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all shifts and types of services. Facilitate staff development, skills and competency upgrading through various opportunities. These may include formal education, in-house training or approved online learning programmes. Guide orientation/induction programmes and preceptorship for all new staff. Support the DON in nursing home management. Qualifications Valid nursing licensure with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years of management experience & IPC trained Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills Excellent understanding of nursing practices and procedures Experience in geriatric care desirable Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent problem-solving skills Interested candidates, please forward your resume to
