specialising in high-net-worth (HNW) life insurance. This is a rare opportunity to build and own the
operational backbone of a Variable Universal Life (VUL)
platform from the ground up - working at the intersection of insurance, private banking, and investment operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end VUL policy lifecycle, from application submission to policy issuance, including custodian account setup and premium funding coordination Design and implement operational frameworks, including documentation standards, controls, and risk management practices Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for VUL operations, supporting brokers, distributors, and bancassurance channel Manage and optimise relationships with private banks, custodians, and distribution partners, ensuring seamless execution Track and report SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics, driving continuous process improvement and efficiency
Critical Requirements Bachelor's Degree with business related qualifications 15+ years of life insurance operations experience, with strong exposure to VUL products Deep understanding of VUL lifecycle processes, including custodial structures and premium flows Strong knowledge of due diligence, compliance assessments, and regulatory requirements within insurance or financial services Proven ability to build processes from scratch in a structured and scalable manner Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex HNW client scenarios
