Job Summary Prepare and serve quality Western cuisine by following recipes and specifications, control food costs, maintain kitchen equipment, and ensure workplace safety and hygiene in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve quality food products by following cooking and presentation recipes and specifications accurately Control food costs by minimizing spoilage, wastage, and managing portion sizes effectively Inspect all perishable food items received to ensure they meet quality standards before use Maintain workplace safety and hygiene by following established food safety and cleanliness protocols Perform regular upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, utensils, and ovens to ensure proper working condition Preferred competencies and qualifications 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar kitchen or food preparation role Good understanding of Western cuisine cooking techniques and ingredients Demonstrate proactive and visionary approach to kitchen operations and food preparation Other Information Benefits: 44 hours work week (5-6 working days per week) Meal and transport allowance (after 12mn)
