Your role
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our investment team. This is a hands-on role that combines traditional research and administrative responsibilities with cutting-edge data science and AI model development. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers and senior analysts to assist in both the generation and execution of investment ideas while supporting day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the investment team.
Independently build and maintain alternative database warehouses and construct and train AI models with regards to specific financial market outcomes. Contribute to discussions around current system and work flow optimization efforts with a specific focus on technological improvement. Interact and support portfolio management teams on record keeping, model maintenance and meeting notes.
Your profile
A post graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, Programming or AI Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Results-oriented, driven and a team player. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Good knowledge of Excel VBA. Previous experience in Python and the standard ML & Data Science packages (pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, etc.) as well as some experience with relational database programming (SQL). Experience working for a global asset manager in a quantitative investment support role
