JOB SCOPES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. Fundamental understanding of blueprint reading. Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment. Assembles parts by bolting and riveting. Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. Manually bend tube in various sizes, including 1/2', 3/8', 1/4', and 1/8'. Orbital welding - standard or ultra clean. Tweaking - aligning all parts to meet specifications of the customer blue print. Packaging - package all parts to meet customer specifications. Assembly - can disassemble and assemble valves, as well as can assemble gas line subassemblies. Ultrasonic Cleaning- perform job to required customer specifications. Tacking - procedure that holds parts together temporarily prior to welding. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS and/or EXPERIENCE: Posses NITEC or NTC certificate or six months to one year related experience and/ or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
