Research Fellow / Research Associate
to be involved in The Integrated Women's Health Program (IWHP) longitudinal cohort and the MUSE Randomized Control Trial involving midlife menopausal women in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

to illuminate issues relevant to midlife women's health. The Department of O&G provides excellent and affordable care to patients. This mission is driven tirelessly by a staff united by a common identity – to support patient care through best-in-class medical practices informed by insights from cutting-edge clinical and translational research. Appointments will be made on a 1-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension.
Purpose of the post: Epidemiology/Biostatistics expertise required
The Research Fellow / Associate will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator, study team members, and external collaborators to ensure the successful completion of clinical studies, interpret and make meaning of the data collected. The RF/RA's principal role will be to support the project through their
Epidemiology/Biostatistics expertise,
data analysis, scientific writing. In a lean team, assisting in participant recruitment, and data collection may be expected.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Epidemiological and Biostatistical Analyses and manuscript writing
The Research Fellow / Associate Should Have Epidemiological And Biostatistical Analytical Capabilities And Manuscript Writing Capabilities. He/she Will Be a Key Member Of The Team For Data Analyses, Interpretation And Writing-up Of Scientific Findings. He/she Will Be Accountable To The Principal Investigator (PI). The RF / RA Will Be Able To
Conduct quantitative data analysis using SPSS / STATA / R; Lead the development of research hypotheses and preparation of scholarly manuscripts. Ensure effective management and organization of collected data; Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team; Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.
Qualifications
The applicant should:
Hold a PhD or Master's degree in Epidemiology/Biostatistics related disciplines; Have experience using data analysis software, e.g. SPSS, STATA, R; Demonstrate a track record of Epidemiology/Biostatistics publications; Be capable of working independently and in a team, have an investigative nature, attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills; An interest in women's health
