Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Chemical), Singapore

We are seeking a Electrical Engineer with strong experience in power generation, or oil & gas facilities to support electrical maintenance, reliability, operation and project activities. This role is responsible for maintaining the technical integrity, reliability, and safety of electrical systems, with a strong focus on power generation and high-voltage electrical equipment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities, particularly in Gas Engine Generator (GEG) systems Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for electrical equipment and systems Drive reliability programs to ensure consistent execution of maintenance and minimize equipment downtime Plan and execute minor electrical CAPEX projects in line with engineering standards Investigate equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Provide technical support to operations and project teams, including expansion projects Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on electrical matters Work closely with Licensed Electrical Workers to ensure compliance and safety Participate in emergency response and assigned operational roles
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or power generation facilities Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical power systems Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
