+65 96310776 ****************************************************************************************************** Looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead (12+ years' experience) with strong knowledge of Java / Spring Boot / REST APIs and working knowledge of Kubernetes, kafka, React JS etc. Should be able to independently lead 4-5 developers for the technical delivery for a sizeable project. Banking domain, especially corporate actions experience would be an advantage.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Professional • Minimum 15 years of development experience in Front-end applications, programming languages and back-end queri es. • Well organized and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges. • Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions • Preferably, have experience in finance/ banking / Wealth management domain • Domain knowledge on Corporate Actions domain is a plus • Communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audience • Understand business / system requirements and translate them into technical solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose. • Ensure adherence to the bank standards (including code, security and performance) • Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and/or Extreme programming
Technical • S trong knowledge on Java, JBOSS and Spring boot, Hibernate frameworks. • Strong knowledge on
Service oriented architecture ,
RESTful service s • Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres etc.) •
Working knowledge of Kubernetes (PKS)
and containerization, streaming using
Kafka, Avro schema • Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design) • Working knowledge of GITLAB repositories, Maven, Octopus, CI / CD pipeline • Basic Linux shell scripting commands • Familiarity with Intellij, SonarQube/SonarLint
