Admin / Operations Assistant (Construction / Marine Industry), Singapore

Job Description: We are seeking a highly active and responsible
Admin / Operations Assistant
to support our daily operations in the construction / marine industry. The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Handle all general administrative duties in line with Singapore construction / marine industry standards Follow up closely with clients and ensure no calls or communications are missed Coordinate and arrange required documentation for manpower deployment Prepare and manage workers' records, permits, and related documentation Monitor daily worker attendance, leave records, and absenteeism Calculate timesheets, including overtime (OT) accurately Arrange workers' medical appointments and home leave schedules Liaise with clients, supervisors, and internal teams for smooth operations Ensure compliance with company and yard requirements Requirements: Prior experience in construction or marine (shipyard) environment is preferred Basic knowledge of shipyard procedures and documentation Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent tasks efficiently Excellent communication and follow-up skills Must be highly responsive and always ready to handle calls Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email) Familiar with attendance tracking and payroll basics (OT calculation) Preferred Qualities: Active, responsible, and committed personality Strong attention to detail Good problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
