Safety Officer, Singapore

The Workplace Safety and Health Officer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Ensure work site is following company's and project's safety management system procedures and system. Assist HSSE Manager in developing, implementing and monitoring HSSE program. On-site work monitoring and conduct safety inspections, assessments and incident investigations & reporting. Coordinate emergency response to include scheduling, training and updating written programs. Monitor work site industrial hygiene. Spearhead safety programs at work site. Review Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Covid SOPs.to ensure conform to project requirements and comply with applicable regulations. Liaise and coordinate with Client, Contractor, project team and relevant parties (e.g. MOM, MOH, BCA, NEA) for all safety, security and Covid related matters, including meeting, reports etc. Establish good working relations with client and its representatives Assist with safety program implementation to include training, conducting routine plant & machinery inspection and safety committee participation as recording secretariat. Organise promotion such as HSSE campaigns, competition and other activities to improve HSSE awareness. File and maintain safety records for inspections/auditing etc. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by management or HSSE Manager.
