Responsibilities
Team Introduction In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. Responsibilities - Responsible for the Global Payment compliance sanction products, designing and upgrading core capabilities such as screen engines, name list management, rule configurations, etc. Ensure adequate data quality and business scenario coverage of sanction screening across Global Payment system. - Responsible for the Global Payment anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crimes compliance products, including name screening for politically exposed persons (PEP) and adverse media, single-customer views, customer risk rating etc. - Responsible for conducting cross-functional communications with compliance officers, business owners, operations agents etc. Build and launch product features with engineering teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of relevant work experience in compliance, anti-fraud, and/or risk products, including 2+ years of direct experience with sanction screening systems. - Strong understanding of payment and fintech businesses, as well as AML, FCC, and sanction compliance policies. - Ability to identify business priorities and requirements, and design appropriate features to support business success. - Ability to lead product research and industry analysis, roadmap planning, and solution design. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience of building screen engines is highly preferred. - Leadership or management experience is highly preferred.
