Legal Associate in Corporate Real Estate Practice, Singapore

What are we looking for We are looking to hire junior to mid-level Singapore-qualified Associates to join our Real Estate practice in our Singapore office.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a well-established transactional corporate real estate team and have experience with corporate real estate work across the commercial and industrial property sectors in Singapore.
The team has handled some of the largest real estate transactions in Singapore and the region hence you can expect to have exposure to complex property related matters in a challenging and fast paced environment.
The Role Will Involve End to end real estate transactions including but not limited to acquisition, financing, development, ownership, leasing and disposition, through all the various stages such as deal structuring, negotiations, deal documentation and legal risk advisory. Property due diligence and advisory services on all property issues. Representing corporations in connection with acquisition, disposals, investments and divestments of commercial, industrial and residential properties. Sale and purchase by private treaty, auction or tender, both for individuals and on a collective basis. Direct and indirect real estate investments, real estate project financing, sale and leaseback property transactions, real estate joint developments, en bloc sales and purchases, development projects and real estate securitization. Representing landlords and tenants in leasing and subleasing transactions. Supporting a myriad of property-related financing and refinancing transactions.

Key Skills and Experience 1 to 3 years' PQE Singapore qualified lawyer. Experience in transactional corporate real estate matters focusing on commercial and industrial properties. Sound foundation in property laws, regulations and conveyancing practice and procedures. Commitment to technical excellence and delivering excellent client service. Possesses initiative, drive and commercial acumen, and can work well both independently and in a team. Excellent communication and drafting skills. Excellent research skills. Keen interest in the real estate sector.
