Job Overview
NLCS (Singapore) is seeking an enthusiastic, highly qualified, and committed Teacher of Science to join the department from August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a world-class international school that values scholarship, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.
The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a curriculum that promotes conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and the application of knowledge to real-world contexts. For experienced candidates, there may also be an opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5.
Any science specialism - Biology, Chemistry, or Physics - is welcome. A passion for the subject, deep content knowledge, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities are essential. Experience with international curricula, particularly the IB Diploma Programme, is desirable but not required.
All members of staff at NLCS (Singapore) are expected to contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities, usually as a form tutor, and to take an active role in the co-curricular programme.
