Junior Accountant, Singapore

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Project Accountant to support our finance team in managing daily accounting functions and project-related financial activities. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in accounting within a fast-paced media/advertising environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Daily Accounting Operations Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end closing Assist in maintaining full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) 2. Project Support Track project costs and update Production Managers with details Ensure proper allocation of costs to respective projects 3. Billing & Collections Prepare and issue client invoices based on milestone billing Follow up on outstanding customer receipts and update AR records Support revenue tracking for ongoing projects 4. Expense & Vendor Management Verify vendor invoices (media buying, production, freelancers) Assist in expense tracking and cost control Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions 5. Financial Reporting Support Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules Support variance analysis (budget vs actual) Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems 6. Compliance & AdministrativeSupport Assist with GST/VAT submissions and regulatory filings Support audit preparation and documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Requirements Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates with internships may be considered) Technical Skills Basic knowledge of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with SAP is an advantage Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Candidates who require workpass need not apply.
