Description
This is an executive role that provides support to the Manager, Advancement and Planning in advancing the organisation's fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership efforts to ensure sustainable funding and stronger advocacy for our programmes and services. The Fundraising Executive assists in the day-to-day management of fundraising operations, including donor stewardship, prospecting new funding opportunities, and supporting the execution of campaigns and events that enhance community engagement. The role also contributes to building and maintaining long-term partnerships with donors, corporates, and community stakeholders to drive meaningful social impact. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Executive supports the smooth implementation of fundraising strategies and initiatives that strengthen the organisation's overall advancement efforts. Duties and Responsibilities: Working closely with the Manager to assist and support: Donor Relationship Management & Stewardship: Support the cultivation and stewardship of relationships with existing donors while assisting in identifying and prospecting potential donors, and to ensure that the database of donors are kept up to date. Maintain timely and accurate records of donor engagements, partnerships, and fundraising activities to ensure readiness for reporting and audits. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for the processing and acknowledgement of donations. Manage fundraising email enquiries and assist in drafting donor communications, including invitations and appreciation letters.
Fundraising Campaigns & Events: Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives, including campaigns and events, to support the achievement of fundraising targets. Coordinate with relevant teams and partners to ensure smooth implementation of fundraising activities. Support post-event documentation, including event summaries and post-mortem reporting. Data Management & Performance Tracking: Maintain and analyse donor data to support donor retention strategies, ensuring the donor database remains accurate, updated, and actionable. Track fundraising performance and donor engagement metrics to generate insights that inform fundraising strategies and outreach efforts. Support the use and upkeep of donor dashboards, ensuring data is current and accessible for review and reporting.
Reporting & Administration: Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate records of campaign/event budgets and expenditures. Support the preparation of periodic reports and data summaries for internal tracking and external stakeholders (e.g., Event Post-mortem, monthly management updates, donor impact reports). Provide administrative support including minute-taking, documentation, and general fundraising coordination.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Marketing Communications /Fundraising Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience working in Social Service Agencies. Experience with CRM or donor management systems and dashboard reporting is an advantage. Relevant training or exposure in donor stewardship, fundraising operations, partnership management, or non-profit governance is an advantage. Behaviour Traits & Attitude: Collaborative, proactive, and able to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders. Demonstrates sensitivity and professionalism when working within the mental health and social service context.
