1. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent (required). 1-2 years of security experience in commercial buildings, corporate offices, or similar environments (preferred). Familiarity with access control, CCTV systems, and visitor management procedures. 2. Skills & Competencies Strong observation and surveillance skills. Ability to operate security systems (CCTV, access cards, alarm panels). Excellent communication and customer service skills for dealing with tenants, visitors, and contractors. Incident reporting and documentation skills. Ability to remain calm during emergencies such as fire alarms, medical issues, or security breaches. 3. Personal Qualities Professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Physically fit able to stand or patrol for long periods. Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality. 4. Key Responsibilities Monitor building entrances, exits, and common areas. Manage visitor access using the building's visitor management system. Patrol floors, parking areas, and sensitive zones to ensure safety. Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to suspicious activities. Assist in emergency evacuations and follow building emergency procedures. Conduct routine inspections of fire exits, alarms, and safety equipment. Handle tenant requests or concerns related to security. Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports. Ensure compliance with building policies for contractors and vendors.
