Senior Video Editor, Singapore

We are seeking a
Senior Video Editor
who is a master of narrative and a technical strategist. You will act as the final gatekeeper of our creative quality, ensuring all outputs are client-ready with minimal management oversight. You will be a key partner to our Pre-production and Sales team, helping to bridge the gap between creative storytelling and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Narrative Collaboration & Editing Partner closely with pre-production and sales team during the ideation phase to co-develop creative storytelling approaches and narrative structures.
Assemble raw footage into polished, high-impact videos (Corporate, Branded, Events) with a focus on pacing, color grading, and audio excellence.
2. Leadership, Mentorship & Training Junior Mentorship:
Oversee the work of junior editors, providing structured feedback and technical training to elevate their storytelling craft and software proficiency.
Non-Technical Guidance:
Guide non-technical staff and in pre-production to ensure footage is captured with the final edit in mind (the 'edit-ready' mindset).
Foster a culture of continuous learning by sharing best practices in editing and narrative structure with the wider team.
3. Quality Gatekeeping & Final Authority Final QC Authority:
Act as the primary filter for all agency output, ensuring technical and creative standards are met before client delivery.
Ensure all projects are 'Client-Ready,' significantly reducing the need for management vetting.
4. Pre-Sales & Tender Strategy Support the Sales team during the proposal stage by providing definitive post-production man-hour estimates, feasibility checks, and technical approaches.
Draft visual storyboards and curate reference materials to be integrated into pitch decks for new business tenders.
5. Technical SME & AI Innovation Research and lead the adoption of AI-powered tools (e.g., transcript editing, auto-captions) to streamline agency workflows.
Attend client meetings as a Subject Matter Expert to address technical queries and creative feasibility.
6. Production Versatility (Good to Have) Support the production team as a videographer when required, ensuring visual consistency and high production standards on-site.
Occasionally ideate and create high-engagement short-form content for the company's social media channels (TikTok/Reels). _ Requirements: Professional Experience:
Minimum
4 years
of professional video editing experience (preferably within a production house or creative agency). Technical Mastery:
Expert proficiency in
Adobe Creative Cloud
with a core focus on
Premiere Pro and After Effects Storytelling Excellence:
Proven ability to craft compelling narratives for
corporate, branded, and interview-driven content
with a high standard of pacing and visual polish. Strategic Thinking:
Ability to support pre-sales and tender strategies by providing technical feasibility insights and man-hour estimations. Leadership & Communication:
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to
mentor junior staff
and collaborate effectively with Producers and Sales teams. Project Management:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Commercial Awareness:
An understanding that salary is commensurate with portfolio strength, technical proficiency, and the ability to contribute to the agency's business growth. Preferred Skills: AI Proficiency:
Familiarity with

Basic videography knowledge
and experience supporting on-site video shoots or acting as a stand-in videographer. Full-Spectrum Workflow:
Deep understanding of the end-to-end video production workflow, from pre production storyboarding to final export/delivery. Social Media Savvy:
