Job Description: Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays:
8:30am - 6:00pm (Inclusive of 1-hour lunch break) Fridays:
8:30am - 5:30pm (Inclusive of 1-hour lunch break) Off Days:
Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Public Holidays Key Responsibilities A) Daily Operations & Discipline Management Classroom Support:
Assist teachers with classroom management and maintaining student discipline. Detention Management:
Supervise and manage 'Responsibility In Action' (detention) classes during mornings or afternoons. Case Handling:
Support the Discipline Master (DM) and Operations Manager (OM) in managing disciplinary cases. Patrol Duties: Regularly patrol school premises before, during, and after period changes.Conduct external patrols of the surrounding vicinity, including nearby shops and shopping centres, to manage student behaviour outside school hours. Examination Support:
Manage student movement and behaviour during internal and national examinations. Student Supervision:
Supervise and counsel students at the General Office or designated areas until school leaders are available. Event Support:
Maintain discipline during school functions (e.g., Speech Day, CCA Orientation, Smoking Cessation programmes, and guest talks). Data Analysis:
Analyse discipline data (e.g., late-coming/truancy) to identify 'at-risk' students for early intervention. B) School Holiday & Term Break Duties Program Management:
Assist in managing students during Term Breaks, June/December holidays, and the Sec 3 Bridging Programme. Administrative Milestones:
Support student/parent management during Sec 1 Registration and the release of N-Level and O-Level results. Home Visits:
Accompany and assist teachers in conducting home visits. Facility Support:
Handle fault reporting, asset management, and store management when discipline duties are not required. General Duties:
Any other administrative or operational tasks assigned by the School Leaders (Principal, VPs, DM, AM, or OM). Job Requirements Education:
Preferably a GCE 'O' Level Certificate or equivalent. Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience handling teenagers in a school environment is preferred. Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on
Excel
for data analysis. Communication:
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) with strong interpersonal skills. Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and take team player who can collaborate effectively with school staff.Firm yet approachable manner in dealing with youth.
