Technical Business Analyst (Asset Management / Finance Data …, Singapore

Our client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong background in Asset Management to join the data product delivery team. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a Finance Data Mart. This is a contract role based in Singapore.
Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to financial reporting and data processes Analyse existing business processes and identify data and reporting needs to support decision-making Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for delivery teams Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including business users, developers, analysts, and project managers to ensure shared understanding of requirements Support workshops, meetings, and regular stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle Validate delivered solutions through testing activities to ensure alignment with business requirements and data quality standards Develop and maintain clear documentation including business requirements, technical specifications, process flows, and data models Support the successful delivery of data-centric solutions aligned with business and finance objectives
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within a finance or data-driven environment Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting concepts Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical or data-focused specifications Experience working on data mart, data warehouse, or similar analytics initiatives Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
