Full Stack Java Developer, Singapore

A global technology and consulting organization is hiring a
Java Full Stack Web Developer (Application Lead)
to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise web applications used across large-scale digital transformation programs.
This role involves building scalable web solutions, leading technical discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality application features and improvements.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and enterprise site components • Build and enhance features using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular/React • Develop and integrate REST APIs for application functionality and system connectivity • Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices • Document technical designs, system specifications, and implementation details • Lead or support technical decision-making within the team • Mentor junior developers and contribute to capability building • Stay updated with modern development practices and continuously improve delivery quality
Requirements: • Strong experience in
Java Full Stack Development (Java + Spring Boot + Angular/React) • Solid hands-on experience in
REST API development • Experience in building and maintaining enterprise web applications • Exposure to
Microsoft PowerApps (mobile applications)
is required • Good understanding of software design, coding standards, and application architecture • Experience working in collaborative, multi-team environments • Strong proficiency in Java (backend development focus)
Some Nice-to-Have's: • Python • PL/SQL
This is ideal for developers with strong Java Full Stack experience who are comfortable working on enterprise-scale web applications, collaborating across teams, and contributing to both development and technical leadership within structured delivery environments.
This is on an initial 12-month contract role based in Singapore.
