Collaborate in documenting, streamlining, and maintaining the Shopee's business logic for enhanced operational efficiency Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and reliability of historical performance numbers Liaise with regional counterparts to facilitate monthly variance analysis between the management's perspective and the accounting view of business performance Contribute to ad-hoc analyses as required, providing valuable insights into the business trends and opportunities Actively participate in the implementation of new business initiatives, supporting seamless integration and successful outcomes
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any other relevant field Prior working experience in audit or accounting-related roles Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong knowledge of accounting standards Self-starter and strong individual contributor Efficient self-organisation skills to maintain a high level of multi-tasking Have a strong ownership and be prepared to get involved in the details, as well as be compliance focused and data-driven Ability to work in a collaborative environment, with remote corporate finance policy guidance and direction Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards is a plus but is not required
