Operations Executive (Bulk) - Trading House, Singapore

As part of its growth, an exciting opportunity has opened for an Operator to manage export/import documentation and all trade-related paperwork for the Singapore trading team.
Role Reporting to the Operations Manager. The role involves preparing accurate export and import documentation in line with LC, CAD, DA, and contractual terms; coordinating with customers on contracts, LC requirements, and shipment instructions; liaising with banks for LC issuance, negotiation, and related trade activities; reviewing trade contracts and LC drafts to ensure smooth execution; handling trade financing with internal finance teams; maintaining organised shipment and document records; supporting month-end reconciliation and reporting; and ensuring compliance with internal controls, banking requirements, and international trade standards.
Requirements The ideal candidate will hold a degree in business or a related discipline and have at least 3 years of experience in operations or commodity documentation within iron ore, minerals, or bulk commodities. Strong understanding of LC terms, CAD, DA, and standard export/import documentation. The candidate must also be able to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
