Finance Executive | Molydenum Trading | Orchard, Singapore

Job Overview : Our client, a trading company based in Singapore, is seeking a Finance Executive to support its finance operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, processing payments and reimbursements, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. The Finance Executive will also work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners to ensure accurate and timely financial management. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations and compliance within a fast-paced trading environment. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for setting up and maintaining company accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documentation Process employee reimbursement claims, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely review and payment Perform cashier duties, managing daily cash flow and bank account transactions Liaise with banks on transfers, account opening, reconciliations, and other banking matters Support supervisors in coordinating with audit firms for auditing and accounting preparation Assist supervisors in working with legal firms on financial documentation and compliance matters Prepare annual financial reports and consolidate required financial data and supporting documents Collect and organise necessary documents and submit them on time to auditors and legal advisors for audit, compliance, and legal purposes Assist in tax filing matters, including preparation of tax documents and coordination with tax consultants for annual tax submission Safeguard financial records and documents, ensuring strict confidentiality at all times Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements: Strong knowledge of accounting and finance, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience Meticulous, detail-oriented, responsible, and strong numerical sensitivity Good communication and coordination skills, able to maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders Positive work attitude with the ability to handle confidential information professionally and responsibly Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and headquarters across regions
Work Arrangement: Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
