Legal Counsel, Singapore

Overview A fast-growing international energy and infrastructure platform is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to support its expanding regional operations. This role offers broad exposure across commercial, corporate and cross-border matters, working closely with business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day legal activities while contributing to the build-out of internal legal capabilities across the region.
Responsibilities Provide practical, commercially sound legal advice to business teams across a range of corporate and operational matters Draft, review and negotiate a wide spectrum of agreements, including commercial, supply, project and partnership contracts Support cross-border transactions and collaborations with regional affiliates, joint ventures and external partners Identify legal and regulatory risks, and propose workable solutions aligned with business objectives Partner closely with internal stakeholders (commercial, operations, finance) to drive timely and effective outcomes Assist on strategic initiatives, corporate structuring and legal operations projects as required
Requirements Qualified lawyer with a recognised law degree; admission in a common law jurisdiction preferred Approximately 5–7 years' experience, gained in private practice and/or in-house within a multinational or project-driven environment Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach Comfortable working across jurisdictions and managing regional stakeholders Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across cultures
