Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel - (Crypto / Web3 / Fintech), Singapore

About the company Pioneer Services is a professional services company specialising in providing corporate secretarial and accounting services, with a focus on providing back-oce support for web3 / Blockchain clients. Some of our notable web3 clients include Tier 1 Venture capital, protocols and exchanges.
Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements across all business lines, balancing risk mitigation with the company's growth objectives. Provide legal guidance throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that new features and services are designed and launched in alignment with legal requirements. Assist the business in navigating complex global regulatory frameworks and maintaining operational compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal support to ensure alignment with broader corporate strategy. Manage responses to information requests and document production for both internal teams and external regulatory bodies. Identify legal and operational vulnerabilities across the organization and develop internal policies to standardize processes and minimize corporate exposure.
Requirements Qualified Lawyer with 4–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally with a background in-house. Proven track record in commercial law, with extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Solid understanding of the Crypto, Payments, or Financial Services regulatory landscape is a plus. Ability to work autonomously and manage high-pressure deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex legal risks into actionable business advice. Strategic thinker who is solution-oriented and comfortable taking prudent risks within a commercial context. Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones. Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in Chinese is highly preferred.
