Application Engineer (Mechanical), Singapore

Our client is a MNC, one of the leading players in the automation machinery sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Application Engineer to be part of their Engineering team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the east - easily accessible. The Application Engineer's responsible is: Review customer RFQs, technical drawings, and specifications to develop automation and assembly machine concepts. Work closely with Sales and Engineering teams to define customer requirements and propose suitable automation solutions. Prepare machine concepts, AutoCAD layouts, 3D models, cost estimations, and technical proposals for customers. Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers on technical clarifications, equipment selection, and pricing. Support customer presentations, sales discussions, and proposal reviews by providing technical expertise. Handover awarded projects to Operations and provide technical support throughout project execution. Maintain proposal documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Applications Engineering team.
