Role Summary We are seeking a passionate and certified Swim Instructor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective swim lessons to individuals and small groups. You will play a crucial part in our students' aquatic journeys, from building water confidence in beginners to refining the techniques of advanced swimmers. The ideal candidate is a safety-conscious, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who is motivated by student success. Key Responsibilities . Conduct swim lessons for individuals and small groups of all age groups and skill levels. . Develop and implement lesson plans that are tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student. . Ensure a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment at all times. . Evaluate student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. . Demonstrate and teach proper swimming techniques and water safety practices. . Communicate effectively with students and parents/guardians regarding progress and expectations. . Enforce all pool safety rules and academy protocols. . Collaborate with other instructors and management to maintain the high standards of Stingray Swim Academy. Qualifications & Requirements Essential : . Minimum of 1 year of experience in swim instruction. . Valid certification in Swim Teaching (e.g., Austswim, SSI, or equivalent). . Valid certification in CPR/First Aid/Lifesaving. . Strong knowledge of water safety and drowning prevention. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. . Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching. . Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Preferred : . Experience with a wide range of students, including toddlers and special needs individuals. . Additional certifications (e.g., Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instructor). .
