Logistics Assistant Manager, Singapore

Job Purpose The Logistics Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely deliveries, process optimisation, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role supports operational excellence through strong team leadership, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working Location: Clementi Working Hours: Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers and internal stakeholders. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure proper stock rotation. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost control. Support automation, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct regular stock checks and audits investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Liaise with transporters, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and SLA compliance. Coordinate with internal departments to align logistics and operational requirements. Supervise, guide, and train team members monitor performance and assist in manpower planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, ISO and local authority requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment. Prepare logistics performance, cost, and KPI reports to support management decisionmaking.
Requirements Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline. Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory, distribution, or operations management. Proven ability to lead, supervise, and manage a team effectively. Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organisational skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards is required.
