The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.
About the Role You will sit at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and operations, supporting real commercial deals and working with global fintech firms, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners. This role offers hands on exposure to how partnerships are structured, negotiated, and executed within an international fintech ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
Client & Deal Exposure Work with global clients including fintechs, financial institutions, and event sponsors Participate in client calls and internal deal discussions Assist in preparing agreements and populating commercial terms (pricing, scope, deliverables) Support contract iterations, tracking changes and consolidating feedback
Workflow & Operations Coordinate contract workflows across teams Track deal progress, approvals, and outstanding items Maintain trackers and flag bottlenecks early Ensure proper documentation and version control
Tools & Reporting Use CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) and to manage pipeline tracking for Sales Support reporting and dashboard updates Improve data accuracy and internal processes
Events & Ecosystem Exposure Support major global forums such as Singapore Fintech Festival and more Assist in partner and sponsor coordination Gain behind the scenes exposure to large scale industry events
Ownership & Cross Teamwork Own a small project or process improvement initiative Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, and Operations Support onboarding and internal handovers across teams
Requirements: Strong attention to detail and structured thinking Highly organised and able to manage multiple workflows Clear and professional communication Proactive, reliable, and takes ownership Comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders Curious and eager to learn about fintech and commercial strategy
