Job Summary Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure seamless operations, cost efficiency, and timely delivery while maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure smooth operational flow and timely delivery Drive cost savings by negotiating competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and shortened lead times with suppliers Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers for machine components, materials, and procurement products locally and overseas Assess supplier capabilities and reliability to ensure quality and delivery standards are met Support Engineering Change (EC) processes by ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with suppliers to implement changes effectively Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands without excess stock Communicate proactively and clearly with cross-departmental stakeholders to align procurement activities Analyze complex data and evaluate variation factors to resolve procurement and supply issues Select and apply appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to optimize procurement outcomes Take ownership of assigned tasks and provide regular data analysis and progress updates to the Purchasing Manager Prepare weekly purchasing reports detailing procurement activities to improve operational efficiency and support departmental KPIs Provide management with reviews and recommendations to enhance purchasing processes and procedures Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager
